    We have carefully selected our oats from Mongolia. These are a breed of oats known as Avena Nuda or Naked Oats.
  • Why canola oil over rapeseed oil?
    Did you know? Rapeseed oil contains very high levels of erucic acid, a compound that in large amounts can be toxic to humans. Canola oil, however, contains very low levels of erucic acid. Erucic acid in foods at high concentrations can be harmful to health. Erucic acid can cause fatty degeneration of the heart (myocardial lipidosis), a condition in which fats (lipids) build up in the heart tissue. This could weaken the cardiac muscle's ability to contract as a result.
  • Coconuts contain high saturated fats, is it not good for me?
    Coconut contains 92% of saturated fats, but it is different from the saturated fats in animal fats.
